MICHAEL W MILLER, NBC-HWC

I am a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach based in Tucson, Arizona offering virtual integrative wellness coaching.  I have a diverse background in healthcare including hospital and clinic settings, Alzheimer's clinical research, developmental disabilities and behavioral health.  I do not claim to be an expert in any of these areas though the experiences have shaped me as a professional.  What held a more profound influence on me was navigating through the unexpected challenges.  I have become less rigid in my thoughts and actions, both in my work and my personal life.

My journey towards wellness coaching culminated from my time as a patient care tech on a neurology unit of a hospital.  I became more aware of the gaps in our current healthcare system and the lack of resources committed to empowering patients to explore what choices they had in their own health and wellness.  What also became quite noticeable was that patients who had been in good health had much better outcomes.  When the pandemic hit, our unit became the Covid unit.  Despite how difficult and somewhat confusing that experience was, it only deepened my desire towards more preventive focused healthcare.  I stumbled upon this newer profession of health and wellness coaching and became inspired.

I will be committed to you and our partnership to facilitate your personal growth and wellness. I am also committed to my own personal growth which carries into the work I do with others.
